Serbien besitzt eine der bedeutendsten orthodoxen Klosterlandschaften Europas: Studenica, Stari Ras und Sopoćani, die Klöster der Raška- und Morava-Schule, die Klosterlandschaft der Ovčar-Kablar-Schlucht, die Fruška-Gora-Klöster in der Vojvodina sowie katholische Ordensorte in Belgrad, Zemun, Bač, Subotica und Petrovaradin. Kosovo ist hier bewusst nicht nochmals aufgenommen, da es bereits als eigene Karte bearbeitet wurde.
