ART COMPETITION Unfortunately, I do not remember where I came across the following story: There was an announcement for a high-class art competition with an enormous prize money - for which respected artists were supposed to create a painting. And there was a mother of several children, who enjoyed painting motives of her garden in oil in her little spare time. When nobody was looking, her 4-year-old son discovered the tubes with the oil color and squeezed them out on the empty canvas. She did not want to throw the painting away since, in view of her budget, she could not afford the buying of new oil color, so she handed the painting in to the competition and won the high-endowed art competition. source: oral account by Katja
